ITINERARY
Day 01:
Delhi Airport – Shimla (Approx. 350 Kms - 9 Hrs): After picking up from Delhi Airport, start your wonderful vacation to Himachal starting from Shimla. Shimla renowned its name as Queen of hills due to its flattering sceneries and colonial heritage which has retained its charm from British India time to till now. Arrive in Shimla by evening, check in at the hotel. Evening free to visit Mall Road after refreshment.
Day 02:
Shimla (Kufri (Approx. 22 Kms/ 45 Mins) – Local Sightseeing): After fresh up proceed for Shimla sightseeing to cover Kufri (It is one the best ski point in winters and in summers, it turns into a famous tourist picnic spot) Jakhoo Temple (According to Mahabharata Myth Hanuman Ji rested while Searching for Sanjeevani Plant), Viceregal lodge which was once the residence of British Viceroy of India which is now converted to advance study for its academic use). In Evening explore The Mall, Scandal Point, Ridge, Lakkar Bazaar and Christ Church.
Day 03:
Shimla – Manali (Approx. 8000ft - 265 Kms - 8 Hrs): Today morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Manali. On the way, visit Kullu. Reach Manali & check into the hotel.
Day 04:
Manali (Local Sightseeing): After Breakfast go for Half Day sightseeing of Local Manali including which includes- Hidimba Devi Temple (This temple constructed in 1553 A.D is Dedicated to Himachal’s Most Significant Deity Hidimba Mata), Vashisht Hot springs (Dedicated to Vashist Muni & well known for its hot Curable water and Religious) ,Club House, Monasteries,e.t.c. Evening Free for leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05:
Manali (Full Day Trip To Solang Valley - Approx. 14 Kms): Today morning after breakfast we have an excursion trip to Solang Valley where you can admire the enchanting sights of the surroundings and can enjoy various thrilling adventure activities at your own cost. As the winter approaches, the same Solang Valley takes the shape of a Snowy Blanket, thus forming a perfect vista for several snow activities. After enjoying the outing, I returned to the hotel.
Day 06:
Manali – Dalhousie (Approx 380km / 9 hr) After Breakfast check out from Manali and Proceed to Dalhousie (9 hrs.). Situated at 2039 Mt in the outer slopes of the DhaulaDhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. On arrival check- in at the hotel. Rest of the day for leisure and shopping. Return to the hotel for Dinner. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 07:
Dalhousie - Khajjiar (Approx. 22 Kms): Morning drive to Khajjiar, one of the most scenic saucers shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests; its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center. This place is also called the Switzerland of India and a stone brought from Switzerland has been installed here. Return to Dalhousie in the evening.
Day 08:
Dalhousie – Amritsar (Approx. 200 Kms / 5 Hrs): After Breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for Amritsar by road on arrival check in the hotel and after that visit Indo-Pak Attari-Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Attari-Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat'' ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After that you will visit Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 09:
Amritsar - Delhi Airport (Approx. 460 Kms / 10 Hrs): Early morning after having breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceeding to Delhi Airport for home town by selected airline.
